WM Fundraising and Events was proud to be part of
the 2009 Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC.
WM was responsible for the planning and management of 2 high profile events on Inauguration Day. The Creative Coalition Brunch, co hosted with the BGR Group, saw a crowd of over 600 joined by a star studded guest list including STING, Susan Sarandon, Anne Hathaway, Alan Cummings, Tim Robbins, Josh Lucas, Tim Daly and Matthew Modine. Corporate sponsors included Moet-Hennessey and Chandon, Guerlain of Paris, Pepsi and Broadcast Music Inc. An eye catching invitation let invited guests know that this Brunch was not to be missed on Inauguration day. WM supervised a creative team of vendors and high profile corporate sponsors to insure this Brunch was most memorable for guests. The event received several positive media stories.
The “Blue Ball”, a black tie celebration of the 44th Presidential Inauguration, was hosted by BGR Public Relations and provided guests with a friendly, intimate venue to celebrate in style. WM was responsible for the creative invitation and venue décor as well as the planning and execution of a fun evening. Guests capped off the historic day with specialty drinks and delicious food late into the evening.
